Personal profile

I am a Senior Lecturer, Professional Policing Degree (PPD) Module Lead and formerly Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Acting Programme Lead on PECR entry routes in Community & Criminal Justice at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, Leicester.

I've completed my Level 7 PG Cert in Empowering Education (PGCEE) and qualified for FHEA of the Advanced HE. As part of my Continuous Professional Development, I have also completed an internationally ILM-accredited Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring qualification. I have used these acquired skills in working with the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Education Academy to support colleagues now completing the PGCEE coaching and mentoring module.

Having also been appointed as a Sustainability Development Goal Fellow, I intend to further the development of sustainability into the PPD/CI Policing programmes in 2025/26. I am the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Liaison to the College of Policing and to Leicestershire Police Volunteers which includes Special Constables. I am currently developing the widening of Active Learning on the Professional Policing Degree and the Degree in Criminal Investigation and Policing.
In my spare time, I try to keep fit and healthy to raise money for my chosen charities, the Care Of Police Survivors, and Prostate Cancer UK.
